Kwai - (long i) or affectionately called Kweeee
Here's the important stuff and more pictures of "yours truly" posing
for the camera...
I am Proud to be an ABC Plus Dog!
As you can see I have a face that everyone says is sooooo cute. I love to play
dip-n-dodge with people. I get down on my elbows and dart my eyes back and forth and move my head side to side
dipping and dodgin until I take off and run around and play catch me. I am Daddy's dog. Daddy will wrestle with
me because I like to play a little rough and he likes it too. (Kwai was a very athletic, active dog and was the
first to initiate the rough wrestling and Daddy liked it but Mommy wasn't able to handle it and he understood.)
One of my favorite places to be is to lie down on my rug behind Dad's office chair as he works on the computer.
I love Mom and Nikoel just as much though. I also like baked chicken with mushroom sauce when we all have it as
a family meal and summer sausage too when they have crackers, sausage and cheese, hot-dog wieners are good too.
I like spicy food like BBQ sauce, steak seasoning on my hamburger patty, jalapeno poppers and chicken strips. One
time I ate Mom & Dad's chicken strip meal that was in the grocery bag in the back cargo compartment when they
got out of the car for a few minutes and they had to go back in and get another bag full. I would eat a little
raw meat but mostly liked it all cooked. I like going in the car anywhere and I enjoy the mountains. I enjoy a
little 4 wheeling in the SUV, going for walks, eating snow and pretty much being anywhere, doing anything with
my family.
I developed skin-bone cancer tumors in June of 2002. My family gave me my yearly vaccinations in April and within
a month I developed a chain of tumors on the inside of my right front leg (caution-like pouring gasoline onto a
fire). These were removed in June and I have lived longer than the prognosis of 1 - 2 months. I enjoyed life 5
months longer than the vet projected.
This is me in May 02.
I never chased cats. But I always let them know I was above them and boss. If one would
look at my plate of food with interest I would snap my teeth and do an "I'll getch -you" move. Or show
a little teeth always works with the evil eye too. I also got wise to mom's trick of putting a pill in a piece
of hot dog weenier. The first time I bit into one was all it took. From there I would take it apart with my front
teeth one little bite at a time and leave the pill! I was always a delicate eater. Never wolfed my food. I would
look at it first, check it for bouquet and then begin to eat. I was also delicate taking food when offered to me
by hand. I was afraid of biting them accidentally.
If I knew I could get another Kwai and just the one, I would definately do the cross-breed in a heart beat on purpose.
Such a wonderful little character. No words can describe him fully. Kwai was never a barker. He had a deep big
dog bark that warned of someone coming and was very good at convincing strangers that they should leave unless
we told him it was ok. He never befriended anyone unless we encouraged it. He was also so good about getting his
toenails clipped by just standing there and never fussing. Good about getting a bath too. He also took his vitamin/immune
mix from an oral syringe twice a day with understanding and patience. He was never a licker either. The dip-n-dodge
was a play tactic he iniated. We could play with his feet as a game and he would make noises and open his mouth
and even touch us with his teeth but never bite. His teeth were very big and hard too. But he was so careful. I
wonder if these traits are indicative of the Akita breed. He was a great kennel mate to Mandy. He stayed by her
in her last days with a great bedside manner and mourned her passing. I do hope he comes back to me. I will have
to consider getting an Akita with these traits if that's possible. Kwai has been one of the very best friends and
family member I have ever had in my life the privilage to love and care for. He in turn loved and cared for us.
Godspeed Kwai! Keep watch over us forever.
Their lifespan is so short. Before you know it 10 years have gone by with them in great health and playful and
life so busy for you. It's so easy for life's daily struggles to pre-occupy us. Be sure to sloooow down when you
are home and make sure you focus on them daily, enjoying their attention and love and all they have to teach us
about life and loving and living in the moment. It's easy to feel life is forever. Life is forever but physical
manifestation is short. Learn what they have to teach us and bask in their love for us.
My mom put me on the Immune Supplement (Transfer Factor type product plus more) right away which has helped the most and then as time
progressed we have added other products too. Petz
Plus Enzymes, Colloidal
Silver (given internally to kill infection in tumors), ProBi are more.
Here are some links to other cancer products if you need to look into them.

I just yesterday (Jan 8,03) spoke to a woman who's dog has survived 2 years past diagnosis so far.
She also mentioned a product called vascu statin which cuts the blood flow off to the tumors.
Today Jan 9, 03 Kwai passed on at just over 13 years old. Kwai was a real character. His face and eyes were so
expressive you could tell what he was thinking and communicating. Very intelligent, conscientious and protective.
He is very, very much missed and I hope his little spirit finds it's way back to me someday. This was my last dog.
I have not been without a dog for 26 years. Now I plan to get a Standard Poodle in the future. Kwai will always
be in my heart.
This is me Jan 8, 03 on my blanket in the living room.
ABC's Petz Plus is the vitamins Mom gave me. They kept me healthy & active right up to
the last day. My hair coat was silky and shiny.
All signs of great health from the inside-out except for the cancer tumors started by the yearly vaccines.
Hold your doggies.... Don't leave yet!
